With electric vehicle adoption rapidly increasing, The Maltings required reliable and accessible EV charging infrastructure to support local drivers, businesses, and visitors. The project needed to deliver high-quality charging within the constraints of the existing site and electrical capacity, while ensuring the solution was scalable to meet future demand and provide a dependable user experience.

PLUG Charging designed and delivered a fully operational EV charging hub at The Maltings, creating a convenient and scalable charging destination in Cardiff.
The hub features high-powered EV charge points, enabling drivers to recharge efficiently while visiting the area. The system is supported by smart charging technology and remote monitoring, ensuring proactive fault reporting and high reliability for users.
The project was delivered as a turnkey solution, covering site design, installation, commissioning, and operational management.
