PLUG Charging Delivers Full Turnkey Fleet Electrification for Pembrokeshire County Council at Thornton and Eco Park Depots

PLUG Charging, a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) solutions for the public sector, has successfully delivered a full turnkey fleet electrification project for Pembrokeshire County Council at its Thornton and Eco Park depots.

The project represents a significant step forward in the Council’s journey towards net zero, combining renewable energy integration, smart infrastructure, and long-term operational support.

End-to-End Electrification Solution

FleetEV delivered a comprehensive, fully managed solution across both sites, including:

• Integration with existing on-site solar generation

• Installation of battery energy storage systems (BESS) to optimise energy usage

• Full civil engineering and infrastructure works

• Deployment of a mixed network of 32 AC and DC charge points

• End-to-end project management and delivery
