Who We Are

PLUG Charging is a UK-based electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure specialist, delivering reliable, future-ready charging solutions for the public sector, businesses and fleet operators.

Born out of real-world fleet electrification challenges, PLUG Charging was established to remove complexity from EV charging infrastructure. We design, install, own and operate charging solutions that are practical, scalable and aligned with our clients’ operational and sustainability goals.

As sister company to FleetEV, we uniquely combine deep expertise in fleet decarbonisation with in-house technical delivery. This allows us to take a holistic approach, from site assessment and electrical design through to installation, commissioning, operation and long-term support.

We work closely with local authorities, public sector bodies and commercial organisations across the UK, supporting everything from depot and workplace EV charging to on-street and lamp column solutions. Our projects are underpinned by robust governance, compliance and health and safety standards, ensuring dependable delivery at scale.

Founding Story

PLUG Charging was founded by Jarrad Morris, an entrepreneur with a long background in the automotive and mobility sector, who saw first-hand the scale of change required to transition the UK to electric vehicles. After spending years working within the vehicle and fleet industry, Jarrad recognised that electrification was not just about vehicles—it required a completely new infrastructure ecosystem to support businesses, public sector organisations and communities making the transition to zero-emission transport. PLUG Charging was created to help solve that challenge. The company focuses on delivering practical, scalable EV charging solutions, combining charging infrastructure with renewable energy technologies such as solar and battery storage. The goal is simple: make it easier for organisations to adopt electric vehicles while building infrastructure that is resilient, future-proof and sustainable. Today, PLUG Charging works with organisations across the UK to design, install and operate EV charging infrastructure that supports the rapid electrification of fleets and communities.
